Friendship Animal Hospital participates in the Kalamazoo Education for Employment Veterinary Science Program, which enables high school students interested in pursuing a future career in veterinary medicine to work at a participating veterinary hospital for hands-on training instruction.
We also assist with Licensed Veterinary Technician training to help online students pursue their clinical requirements.
Our hospital provides support to our community through caring for the needs of school therapy dogs in the Portage and Mattawan schools.
Friendship Animal Hospital partners with Kalamazoo Animal Control to help with examinations for recently adopted pets. This ensures the health and well-being of new pets at the time of adoption.
