Callan

Callan grew up attending veterinary appointments with her father and that inspired her passion for being a voice for animals. In college, she discovered her calling to advocate for the human-animal bond and help strengthen the connection between pets and their owners. She earned her Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology from the International Business College Vet Tech Institute in Indianapolis and is a Fear Free Certified Professional working toward Elite certification. At home, she has one cat, Donatello; three dogs, Elsa, Felicity, and Chuck; and four rats—Hufflepuff, Gryffindor, Slytherin, and Ravenclaw - who chose their own names using fruit-like sorting hats. She moved to the area from Fort Wayne, Indiana a little over a year ago and remains a proud Hoosier, always cheering on Notre Dame Women’s Basketball. In her free time, she enjoys reading, walking in nature with her dogs, and training them in obedience using behavior modification techniques.
