Personal Hobbies and Interests
Outside the clinic, Dr. Prygoski enjoys reading, hiking, visiting national parks, and spending time along Lake Michigan with her husband and their two young children. Her home is filled with the pets who inspire her work every day - four cats (Olive, Micro, Gummy Bear, and Cricket) and two dogs (Banana and Monty).
Favorite Part of My Job
She is most passionate about feline medicine, soft?tissue surgery, and client education.
Education
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Michigan, where she also worked in a freshwater research lab conducting both Ann Arbor–based studies and fieldwork on Alaska's North Slope. She went on to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University.
Professional Background
Dr. Prygoski is a compassionate small animal veterinarian whose love for animals and science has shaped her career.
Originally from Grand Blanc, she has called southwest Michigan home for the past eight years and is excited to join Friendship Animal Hospital to work closer to her community.
Work History
She began her small animal general practice career in 2018, serving families in Kalamazoo and Coloma.
