Mikaela

Mikaela grew up in Portage, Michigan. She wasn’t sure which direction to take her education - until her cat Loki needed a life-saving surgery. That experience inspired her to pursue a career where she could combine her love for animals with making a meaningful difference in their lives. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from GVSU and now enjoys working with pets and their families every day. At home, she spoils her Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher, Pepper, and cares for her two cats, Milo and Loki. Outside of work, she can often be found playing disc golf with friends, getting crafty, or enjoying cozy video games.
