Problem Behavior Training

Behavior problems are the #1 reason pets are surrendered to shelters, rehomed, or euthanized.  Having a pet with a behavior problem impacts everyone's quality of life and damages the human-animal bond.  Common behavior problems include: fears and phobias, house soiling, reactivity, anxiety, excessive barking, and other nuisance behaviors.  Treatment includes extensive history taking, learning how to understand and interpret your dog's behavior, management strategies, and behavior modification techniques.  Problem behavior training appointments are typically held in your home and last 90 minutes.

*For more severe behavior concerns, such as severe anxiety and aggression, a behavior consultation with a veterinarian is required.  In some cases, using behavior modification as well as medication may be indicated.  If medication is determined to be necessary, it is used in conjunction with behavior modification and under close supervision.
