Welcome To Friendship Animal Hospital

We are a full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing high quality, state-of the art medicine and compassionate care for your pet in the West Portage, Texas Township neighborhoods of Kalamazoo, MI.  We are conveniently located at the corner of S. 12th St. and Texas Drive, across the street from Wedel's Garden Center. 

We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities and a closely supervised hospitalization area.

At Friendship Animal Hospital we strive to offer not only sound advice, but also optimal veterinary care, thus allowing you the enjoyment of your companion for a maximum number of years. Our job is not only to treat your pet when he or she isn't feeling well, but also to help you learn how to keep your best friend happy and healthy.

We also participate with the Kalamazoo County Education for Employment Veterinary Science Program, which enables high school students interested in pursuing a future career in veterinary medicine to work at a participating veterinary hospital for hands-on training and instruction.
