Our hospital's owner is Rhonda Prince, D.V.M.  Dr. Prince attended veterinary school at The Ohio State University.  Following graduation, she completed a small animal internship at Alameda East Veterinary Hospital (home of "ER Vets" on Animal Planet) in Denver, CO.  She then moved to Great Falls, MT and practiced veterinary medicine for 4 years before moving to Kalamazoo, MI.  Dr. Prince practiced as an independent contractor after arriving in Kalamazoo, MI.  Now, she is elated to be able to open the doors to her new practice.  Dr. Prince is a resident of the Texas Township Community.   She actively participates in  the community by performing weekly vet rounds at Kalamazoo Animal Control & providing services (spays/neuters/exams/etc.) to the local rescue group, Animal Rescue Project. 

When she is not working, she spends time with her husband, Chris Smith (an ENT physician at Healthcare Midwest), son Hunter, daughter Olivia, cat Bezoar, and her three dogs...Ellie, Gracie and Zappa.
